I'm delighted that my painting, Spring Gorse, has been selected from thousands of entries to be included in this year's Wales Contemporary exhibition. The painting (right) will also be in consideration for numerous prizes, totalling £15,000.
Now in its fifth year, Wales Contemporary has established itself as a major annual art prize and exhibition. It is open to artists worldwide and the exhibition will feature around 150 works, selected by this year's judges: singer and painter Ian 'H' Watkins, artist Kelvin Okafor, and award-winning printmaker and painter Katherine Jones RA.
The exhibition opens on 26th February at the Garrison Chapel in the heart of London's Chelsea Barracks; it then tours to the Waterfront Gallery in south-west Wales.
